    Hi Bobbi,

    First of all thank you for your critiques in 1st lesson and all useful information!
    I have noted that most of your photos you posted as example have dark/black background. How do you achieve it? you simple place dark curtain behind the model or your shooting in the studio? any advise will be much appreciated.

    To get a dark background is a combination of using something dark (curtain, sheet, black foamcore board, etc) and also blocking the light from falling on the background. Bring the subject close to the window and have the background farther away. Light falls off with the distance.
