Everyone smiles when they see her, so let’s join Lexi on her walk with David Hancock, who took these images during the “Celebrate Your Life in Beautiful Images” class.
Every day Lexi goes for a walk with David, so he brought his camera along and found an angle just above Lexi’s eye level to show her expression. Next, he isolated Lexi in the frame to create a sense of intimacy. The result is an image that really captures Lexi’s personality.
First find your camera angle.
Then frame your shot.
Shoot. Review. Adapt. (Repeat.)
For the running shots of Lexi, David shot on burst-mode with auto-focus as he chased after her. The result is that Lexi got in about 45 minutes of exercise, and David came home with 110 shots to choose from for his assignment. Both of them were very happy!
